The Close Family
At The Close, the culture of providing an outstanding level of care, championing inclusivity, kindness and compassion is instilled by MD, Sanjay Dhona. This extends beyond residents to our exceptionally skilled, fully-qualified and DBS checked team of professionals.
The exceptional, outstanding level of care is also continuously upheld through encouraging the involvement, observation and highly valued opinions by our residents’ during the recruitment process.
Our teams
Our teams are made of specialist and passionate individuals who come together to provide our residents with the compassionate care we are renowned for. They share The Close’s values and understand what it takes to live a life full of dignity and choice and strive to deliver meaningful days to all.
Nursing team
Our Nursing team are made up fully trained and qualified, NMC registered RGNs and RMNs. Their dedication to adult social care and commitment to excellence sees our residents receive the most outstanding level of care recognised by regulators and our industry.
Support team
The Close is blessed to have an international recognised and awarded support teams. Kitchen, Facilities and Maintenance as well as house keeping have all been recognised in their respective fields as leaders and innovators. Providing the key ingredients across the home in all manner of experiences and provisions to support amazing lives for our residents.
Training
The Close has its very own specialist approach to training. We cover all the statutory requirements, but go so much further to ensure our team understand the complexities of requirements our residents live with and how best to support them holistically. We have training delivered both in person, through e-learning and our new round table training model.
Front Office and Admin
May be your first point of contact with the home, our amazing reception and admin team are here to help and support you and your loved ones. We like to describe them as our central helix of the home. Feel free to ask them any questions as they are knowledgeable and empowered to try and help you as best they can.
