Hello and welcome to my corner of the website, I’m not a big one for talking about myself, I’m the one tucked out of the way in the background keeping the wheels turning, certainly not the guy enjoying the lime light. I started working for The Close as Head chef / catering manager, after the shuffle and Sanjay restructured the home, I was moved over to the Non-Clinical managers position alongside Noleen and Michelle. My passion is food as many of you know but this is only a very small area to the home I look after, after moving across to non-clinical manager i have gained qualifications in website design, health and safety, environmental health, Pat testing, fire prevention, employment and human resources to a few but note enough to bore you. I look after the Catering, housekeeping, reception and facilities in the home as an outline. My office is located at the end of the Clifton’s wing should you ever wish to talk to me about anything at all please feel to drop in and see me. I have been pushing the new international guidelines of IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) project along in the home and Oxford City Council have asked us as a home to organise a Chefs Club to showcase the outstanding work the catering team have been doing to implement the new IDDSI processes, if you have time please take a look at our “specialist food page” to find out more.
